The NASBA Center for the Public Trust, Being a Difference Award Program, recognizes individuals practicing high standards of social responsibility and ethical leadership. Recipients do not simply aspire to make a difference. They are being a difference in their circumstances by embodying the very best in principled behavior in the face of difficult challenges.

Ethics in Action Video Winners 2010

The inagural Ethics in Action Video Competition was in 2010 with local entries from the Middle Tennessee area. In 2011, the competition went national with entries received from several states across the nation. View the winning entries from each year below.

Ensuring Integrity: Fifth Annual Auditing Conference

Ethics & Resolving Interpersonal Conflict

Join the NASBA CPT and OK Ethics as they co-sponsor “Ethics & Resolving Interpersonal Conflict”.  During this lunch session, keynote speaker, Larry Bridgesmith, Executive Director of the Institute for Conflict Management and Associate Professor at Lipscomb University, will discuss ethical conduct in the workplace.

About the Program
Ethical conduct demands skills for dealing with the interpersonal conflict which is inevitable in human interaction.  Most businesses expect ethical conduct without providing the skills training to help employees and managers deal with confrontation and the necessity of difficult conversations.  This session will explore the fundamental sills needed to effectively manage these “crucial conversations.
